The University of Georgia's Society for Management Information Systems (SMIS) is a student organization devoted to cultivating relationships among students, faculty, and industry representatives in the field of computing and information systems. SMIS holds regularly scheduled company presentation meetings; please see the SMIS Schedule below. These meetings are an excellent way for students to interact with industry representatives to learn more about the industry today and potential career opportunities.
Dress to all meetings is business casual, unless otherwise noted. In addition to the regularly scheduled meetings, SMIS holds various other special events on and off campus. Please check back regularly for meeting and social event updates, updated pictures, news, and special projects.

Our goal is to build a relationship among MIS students, UGA / MIS alumni, company recruiters and MIS faculty. To accomplish this goal, we frequently host company presentations, resume and interview workshops, a formal recruiting dinner, alumni functions and much more.
